I have submitted the Thesis of Doom!

Finally guilt-free internet time! I can see vast vistas of free time spreading out ahead of me... to be filled with frantic job-seeking, but hey! My delusions of freedom!

*sticks fingers in ears, buries head in the sand and hums loudly to ignore the wailing of the bank account*

Oooh! Hound-authored fiction, how could I turn that down? Especially since I had to juggle the last edits to the thesis-of-doom with a rather abrupter than planned move from one rented room to another via the kindness of those of my local friends that drive!

Sadly my liking for Captain Perfect and the scarcity of Lester/Becker fiction means I am now torn over my favourite Lester pairings... Lester/Lyle - always such fun; Lester/Ryan - surprisingly sweet and Lester/Becker... which seems almost canon, and they are both so careful about maintaining a polished front, I kinda like it when they get all ruffled.
So I think...

Lester/ Becker something snarky, slightly fluffy and post season 3 episode 6 and the whole 'don't expect a kiss from me, Captain' bit would make my month.

Congratulations! (Okay, somewhat belatedly, but...)

Years ago, you said something about maybe writing some Navarone fic when you were done with grad school. (This was in response to a Navarone fic that I was writing -- and recently picked up again.)

If that even happens, I'd sure be happy to hear about it!

I do still have my notes for that story, but I'm not in a Navarone mood at the moment, but I'll see what I can do over the next few months! Nice to see you are getting back to your epic about the boys, I'm sure it will help get me back in the mood.
