Summary: Jensen thinks back to his and Jared’s first memory together.

Jensen thinks back on their 25 years together, their first meeting is just a memory now.
“Hi I’m Jared,” the giant man said, holding out his paw for Jensen to shake. Jensen held out his own hand.
“Jensen.”
“We the only ones here?” Jared asked.
“Guess so. ‘S just you and me pal,” Jensen replied, still kinda in awe at the guy in front of him. He was ridiculously gorgeous, but he had these child-like features that made him seem so much younger than he probably was.
To this day, Jared still has those gorgeous dimples that carve into his cheeks, making him look younger than his actual age. His eyes sparkle with mischief and mirth. His hair still falls into his eyes and is still thick and floppy, the jerk. It is peppered with gray so it’s matured more than Jared has, but it’s still almost all there.
Jensen’s is there too, but doesn’t grow as fast anymore and there’s more gray than Jared’s hair has, but it’s also harder to tell he has gray.
They’ve both let themselves go a little, but Jensen still loves Jared’s body and wouldn’t change it for the world. He knows it and Jared better than he knows himself and he can’t help but think it’s all because of that fateful day.
While that day is an excellent memory and the start of their journey together, it’s only one of few and there are many more memories to make.
