Spun You to This Borrowed Radio Supernatural (WiaWSNB wishverse AU) Dean; PG 2,127 words A/N: For mcee, who asked for "wishverse!dean and the little boy he has with carmen," and who rocked the beta, as usual.
Something...about Dean's old room, and the bong water stain really hit me--about how this is a "normal" AU, with teenage details and rebellions and history imbedded (literally) in solid space (place). [Although who knows that it says about my own personal history that bong water stains read like familiar domestic normality.]
there's a lot of my own personal history in here, and even though i borrowed that bong water stain from my friend's brother's bedroom, it could've just as easily been mine, or either of my sisters', except that it was mostly joints and bowls around our house. :)
i also just have this sort of ridiculous obsession with the idea of dean as a pot-smoker, in any verse.
Wow, I am sitting here in a puddle of tears. Because it may be the wish 'verse but I'm sure that's how Dean hurts about losing his dad in the "real" world too. That was just amazing.
I love his voice in this. I'd say more, but I just woke up and I'm nowhere near coherent.
He still tries to be a good son, and Mom never makes him feel like he's anything but. Even though for a long time, he wasn't. He knows that. But Jack made him want to be a better everything.

Oh, my heart.

This sort of broke me:
Just for a second, in the murky light, he looks like Sam. Dean blinks and the moment passes...
So much love felt in that paragraph. Beautiful.
