sometimes spam is accidentally pleasing

i got a spam comment on one of my entries that's almost two years old -- one has to wonder how they choose these things -- and in the process of opening it to delete the spam, i noticed that old entry was a rec of this fullmetal alchemist fanart.

mmmm. teeth. that definitely improved my afternoon.

Did the fanart link work for you? Because I get a "journal has been suspended" notice. And it would be weird if it got suspended between you posting this and me clicking on it, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Huh. Not to comment-hijack, but that's the same fanartist whose journal was apparently suspended in a very strange way earlier, supposedly for depicting underage characters in sexual situations.

Your post made me wonder if it was spamming that got her suspended. It still seems like a really strange coincidence, doesn't it?

I haven't had a chance to read my flist yet today, but I expect a dozen or more entries on this subject mixed in with the HP race debate on metafandom.
