Man, you really did warn for that didn't you? It's intense, heartbreaking and yet in the end uplifting because Colby's the good man we always knew he was and he loves his daughter no matter what.

This is quite the series. Great job taking us through so much life in so few words. /applauds/

I'll admit... I haven't been reading much fic (if at all) and I almost didn't read this when I saw the dark/angst bit. But, it's you... so I had to and I'm glad I did.

The only thing I can think of to describe it is beautiful sadness. Quite the trail of emotions you took us on and with so few words. VERY nice job.

PS Side note: I love that you're at least the fourth or fifth writer who has Colby with a red head. haha. Colby has good taste. :)
