The end of October was rapidly approaching; while this meant many things to Evan - Halloween, Athosian Harvest Festival, Satedan Midnight Dance - The most important thing was his one year anniversary. David loved Halloween and he’d been planning his costume for months and Evan had the final part. Evan waited eagerly as the Deadalus unloaded; grabbing his parcel and hot footing it to David’s quarters. David ripped open the gift like a kid a Christmas. He held up two of the brightly coloured items, one in each hand.
“What are these...?” he asked.
“Braaaaaainnnssssss.” Evan laughed, tossing one in the air.
