As fun as Ronon throwing the marines around is, lunch is better. Because he’s going to the gym afterwards, Evan is wearing soft topped sneakers instead of his usual military boots, which means he can feel the weight of David’s foot resting on his own. This is as public as he dares to be and it’s such a thrill. David’s foot shifts, and the toe brushes against Evan’s ankle. He smiles. He loves Wednesday lunch.
