Lucky did not feel his nickname for the moment. Why he had become involved in this mess had no real rhyme or reason. As he pumped into Gillian it didn’t seem much to matter if it was because she put lead in his pencil or because he felt and unconscious pride that he was getting one over on Jimmy. Some driving primal force made it inevitable that he would be in this hotel room with her. That he would be on top of her riding away his own humiliation at desiring such a woman. That even knowing that she had once had had him killed didn't matter as much as the wonder between her legs. Logic had left the building a long time ago and they were her again, in bed, panting and screaming for release ( ... )
