This is beautiful! I especially liked this --

He’s seen her in her darkest moments -- manipulated, used, beaten down, and he swears (he swears -- his grip around her waist tightens) he would be different.

Ahhhh, Richard, that's so heartbreaking. And yet, he's a very effective guy, and we've not seen him fail yet...

I really hope the writers touch on their relationship in the next season -- it would be a shame to ignore it, because I think it was a big development with Richard's character.

I don't watch this show, but this was so very beautiful. And heartbreaking. I especially liked this:
