Kakumei means revolution though... so unless you are thinking along the lines of him bringing guns along to bring about change, I don't think the song would bring that to mind.
I do admit, the 'torture chamber' part may have an ounce of truth. We know that Ludwig is a science-freak, so it's entirely possible for him to set up a laboratory in his estate where he does all these experiments on people to find out how they work. As he is a Scorpio at birth, these experiments could easily turn to torture since many Scorpios have a hidden sadistic side. ~_~
That's an interesting viewpoint you have of Orpherus.
Yeah, well, the whole rant was based on Kaori Yuki's manga Ludwig Kakumei, wherein the protagonist had long, long hair (and nails that rival Rosiel's, too), a whole shitload of guns somewhere hidden in his clothes and a torture-fetish. And given that the protagonist was so very conveniently named Ludwig, I couldn't help but draw the comparison ^^;
And Orpherus... just walks around with a head filled with rose coloured clouds.
Heh, I thought as much. Somehow, the idea of ML Ludwig running around Europe looking for a bride gets me laughing. ^0^
I think the world needs some people with dreams like Orpherus. If everyone was like ... shall we say Lui-sama, our world would be rather dark and pessimistic. The dreams may not come true, but it definitely spices things up for the rest of us.

He has Naoji, after all ^^; and why do I have the feeling, that when he is indeed channeling Kakumei-Ludwig, all his brides will end up dead?
