Hikaru no Go is great. I have so much love for this series. It is really gay. Hikaru is wonderful. Also gay. Sai is awesome and for some strange reason wears purple lipstick. I didn't know they had lipstick in the Heian era. Or that men wore it. Touya is adorable. Also gay. And has no fashion sense. Ogata is a sleaze. Isumi is cute. Waya is funny. Akari is cute. Did I mention how gay it was?
OH GOD THE PHAROS. That place returns in my nightmares I swear. Okay just kidding. But the minimap thing really is aweful, isn't it? I hated that part. Next playthrough I'm giving up something else. Like my attack command. Just wait until you've finished there. Then you can go to the Pharos Subterra and get gang-raped by monsters.
That's a Saturday, right? I think I will be able to get the day off for that...
So far I quite like Pharos =D I think the Great Crystal is far more annoying. Gang-raped... Well that's promising. >_>
I always thought Hikaru No Go was a boring anime/manga about the game Go, like watching people play a game... Didn't sound that exciting to me... But apparently there's more to it? Well yeah, I should expect that from the maker of Death Note... But what's the story like?
Btw, Death Note isn't my fav anime anymore, it's definitely Code Geass now <333 Simply brilliant. I have bought 3 illustration books (A) I love internet. It's so cheap. Srsly, go look at www.archonia.com. You don't even have to have a creditcard. I bought a Suzumiya Haruhi bag there as well <3
In short: Hikaru gets possessed by a Go-obsessed ghost. He whines about it, and thinks Go is a game for stuffy old men, but in the end gets won over and starts playing himself (before Sai, the ghost, played while using Hikaru's body). It's really about Hikaru growing up and maturing throughout the story
