Why do you hate me, Android?

I have the kindle app, aldiko app, and the latest softwear updates.

And yet when I try to DL a .mobi or .epub of a Big Bang it says it won't DL because the format isn't supported on my phone.

I have tried clicking directly and saving the link, and Megaupload and AO3, and nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any clue what the fuck I'm doing wrong?

This is probably supremely unhelpful, but I had the same problem with my iPhone, said fuck it, and downloaded a PDF app instead. ;) I know it's not the same as those other formats, but it'll do in a pinch!

I can't actually dl them directly on my phone, either. What does still work for me, though, is DLing the MOBI file onto my computer and then connecting the phone to the laptop and dragging the files into the kindle app folder.

I realise the liklihood of what's wrong with yours being exactly what's wrong with mine is small, but mebbe worth a try if you haven't?
