Yeah isn't it super illegal to transport any and all goods related to animals that are considered protected? Esp because how do you KNOW they died ethically?

IDK, I don't personally have a problem with it, I just remember learning about taxidermy and what is and illegal to own, etc, in school.

Checked--the answer about importing in California from out of state is very ambiguous, and everyone keeps saying "you have to check." What you definitely can't do is SELL it. There's supposed to be some kind of form.

I will say that it may be better to have a wolf pelt than to be one of those buttheads who tries to *keep* a wolf as a pet. My opinion of people who try to keep apex predators as pets and then get sick of them is rock-bottom low.

I don't know about the wolf pelt. If the wolf really died of natural causes and it's not illegal for her to have the pelt, then I don't see what's wrong with having it. Wearing it around town? That's kinda weird, though. I'm not sure how I feel about that. But otherwise, I'm not sure if it's really that bad.

Piecaken seems kind of eh. Pie crust would get soggy too fast. And then there's not enough delicious cake, given that the pie is taking up all the space. I'd ask Sister Girl to make two separate pastries.
