No, actually. Her situation deteriorated and she had emergency surgery. Eventually, however, she passed away.

I truly feel so lucky that my mom is my mom. She's weirdly funny and open-minded and a badass in her own way. This is just the one flaw in her ultimate momness. *shrug* I don't get it.
