So this is the awkward part...

Um, hi guys. It's been about 10 months. Turns out I'm not dead, in case anyone was wondering. My last post was back in November after Seasonal Spuffy. I guess in some ways that was the straw that broke the camel's back. There was a lot of angst tied up with the twp ficathons I had signed up for, my participation in fandom had been waining for some ( Read more... )

::Waves hello::

So glad you have been enjoying globe-trotting! And your excursions into a music fandom!

Happy to see you again; always a pleasure. Don't be a stranger!

I feel very guilty for not responding way sooner. Just wanted to say you've always been so sweet and I always smile when I get a comment from you. Hope you're doing well :)

I'm going to write a short post about life stuff in a few minutes, so there will be more updatey-ness. Happy Thanksgiving!

*hugs* Good to hear from you!

Now I'll have to post that fic I wrote for your birthday after all. :P

I just finished True Blood Season 2 too! Loving it! And I hear good things about season 3 (when I'm not covering my ears and la la la-ing to avoid spoilers.)

*waves* Sorry for not responding waaaay sooner. I fail. Exact some sort of creative punishment for my tardy response. Bet you can come up with something real wicked >:D

Ooooh, what sort of fic did you write/think of writing for my bday?

I tried streaming True Blood S3, but my computer was being a bitch about it. Do you have any good streaming sites to recommend? I don't want to wait for the DVD next June! Though, I will admit, I watched practically all the sex scenes on Youtube already, lol.

I'm trying to get my finances together to take a two week trip to Australia in November/December.

You are? Cool! Come say hi!

(Where are you going in Australia? Which city?)

First - I suck at not responding waaaay sooner.

Second - I suck cause I'm not going to Australia anymore. It turned out that it was much more expensive than I could afford and I didn't have adequate resources to plan a trip that big. I'm actually going to Hawaii December 1-16, so half way between NYC and Australia. I'm really looking forward to it. Australia is still on my bucket list though. I'll get there eventually, damnit.

If you ever get here, come to Melbourne! I'll show you around.

Absolutely. I love native tour guides. Thanks for the offer. And if I go about planning it, I'll definately hit you up for advice. It was tough being stuck trying to plan a trip for 3 other people that didn't want to help with the research.

*waves* It's nice to know you're alive and kickin'. :) This is a good time in your life for travel, exploring new ideas, making new friends, and stuff like that. There will still be fandoms to play in if and when you have the time and interest. Enjoy!

Yes, all very wise words. Recently, I've been revisiting fandoms that I loved as a kid. I was trying to find Garagoyles and Edward Scissorhands fanfiction the last few weeks. Wow. Really tough. Talk about fandoms that are dead =/ I kinda wanted to write some, but then thought no one will read it, so F that.

Sorry for the belated response, btw. Going to post an update later today. Have stuffs to talk about. Hope you're well and Happy Thanksgiving!
