As is typical of me, I've missed a few days worth of posts since I haven't been checking my flist, but I did notice the Stump the Author meme that's been going around. It looks fun!

1.) Go to my sidebar and pick out a line or two from one of my stories. (Must be a full line, please -- no sentence fragments or speech tags or other such nonsense.)

Thanks, Sevvy. Yeah, I started it yesterday and am already up to p. 90. It's a fast read, humorous and has a lot of good insight.

I've been having too much fun with this meme, lol.

Hm... At first I was like, "Shit, I have no idea." And then I was looking at the story titles on my side bar and started to eliminate which ones it definately wasn't. My instinct is to say that Spike is with Buffy here and that the female in question is standing and he's kneeling. I wouldn't write action like that if the girl was on her back. He's also been at it awhile if it's "renewed fervor." I want to say that's "Pre-Nuptial Bliss" since they have a pretty extended encounter in Giles' bathttub where Buffy is standing, but it could also be "Little Lost Lamb," which also heavily features oral sex with Dawn standing and Spike kneeling. Gah

You got it! It's funny how no one seems to actually remember the lines, and instead works it out based on context clues. :)

Wow. I'm surprised I got it. Tough one, that. Context clues are definately helpful. Is that how you figured yours out or did you know immediately?

I have to find a good line for you. See if I can stump ya at some point.

Now... From what off your very lovely fics did I take that one, hmm? ;-) Lovely meme. Fun to shop around among your fics. Found a few I hadn't read yet, even. Will have to do something about that. :-D

Ooh, ooh! I know this one right off. That's Faith and Angel in "Unsung Heroes." There are so many beautiful lines in that short piece and I distinctly remember this one.

I wish more people would play because I've written so many shots with so many different pairings, things can get pretty confusing, especially if there's only gender pronouns go to by and no actual names.
