Man, the trickster especially has it out for Sam in this episode. I mean, I kind of remembered it, and it's been my headcanon for awhile, but damn, it's so unsubtle. So it's a common complaint (or maybe frustrated desire is a better word) in SPN fandom that neither of the Winchesters never really show the kind of long-term psychological effects that they really should after everything they've been through. I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm working on a fic, it tends to live in an open document down on my taskbar. The consequence of this is - especially with short fic or my ever-growing list of WIPs- a tendency to use that open document as a notepad, so there are  a ton of smaller fics and half-finished fics that list side by side with ( Read more... )
