Yeah , the ending was sweet, wasn't it? And the angst-writing cracked me up, at least coming from a fannish perspective.

There's a Blake's 7 crackfic -- I think it's "Cucumbers Are Not the Only Fruit" -- in which Kerr "DARK" Avon brags about how all the women want guys like him, and Del "Handsome Blake Ersatz" Tarrant tells him (paraphrased from memory), "No, all the women want to READ ABOUT guys like you." It might start with a grand passion, but they'd come to see it from the roommate's point of view after living with him a while.
