[Project] Fanbook Support Needed

Mar 25, 2009 23:59

One more post tonight, but definitely look at the post below. ^_^

Another step in our Fanbook project has come up.
If you could put aside a dollar or two, it's time to raise funds for our Happy 20th Anniversay •CLAMP• Fan Appreciation Fanbook. With many of you not having Paypal or not having a credit card, we'll be taking concealed cash donations first.

cardcaptorkiki will be taking donations from the USA.
crys-tenkari will be taking donations from CANADA.
senefen will be taking donations from AUSTRALIA.

cardcaptorkiki, crys-tenkari & senefen will forward me a total when our support-drive ends.

Reluctantly, there wasn't an editor available to take donations from Europe or S. America. or Asia. Due to monetary conversions or lack of Paypal accounts, this support-drive will be for those who have American, Canadian and Australian currency only. BUT I will accept Paypal at a later date. Everyone who donates will have their name on our special support page in our book.

So here's how to send money.

cardcaptorkiki will be accepting money from those in the USA in her post HERE.
crys-tenkari will be accepting money from Canadians in her post HERE.
senefen will be accepting money from Australians in her post HERE.

(comments will be screened at their lj's for privacy)

1. Please go to the above posts for instructions. Basically, tell them your info, send cash, they'll record it.
2. They are NOT responsible for lost mail, so as much as we'd love large donations, send small amounts, $1 is perfectly ok. You can ask them if a personal check for larger amounts is ok, too.

***3. If you are in any neighboring countries and have a dollar in the above local currencies, feel free to send it along.

----------------------------------

We'll be accepting concealed cash donations through April and May (deadlines are set by cardcaptorkiki, crys-tenkari & senefen). I'll be accepting Paypal donations sometime in May. This will only be for larger donations of $5 and up, and ONLY if the cash donations are not enough. We'll try to reach a total of $300. The $300 will cover printing, shipping, packaging and again, shipping to Japan with insurance. We have surpassed the limit of 400 pages in one book, so we will have to split the book into two books...which accounts the bulk of the cost. Any extra funds will be given to charity and any expenses over $300 will be covered by me (though I will throw in a few dollars anyway).
