I did a search on LJ for people with the interest "lucy deakins", and it turned up only you, and someone else also when I changed it to "jay underwood"--I'm trying to find fanfic for the movie The Boy Who Could Fly, if it be *anywhere* online. Have you run across some anywhere? Such an awesome movie should have some *somewhere* . . .
You have great taste!claireleoApril 9 2007, 06:19:44 UTC
The Boy Who Could Fly is a perfect movie. :-) I love it with all my heart.
There is no fanfiction available that I know of. (Then again, I don't write much fanfic -- the only online fandom I'm a part of, is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)
I now have The Boy Who Could Fly on DVD (to replace my poor, worn-out VHS tape) -- and did you know that the disc includes cast commentary?! I flipped out with excitement. :-)
So I listened to the whole thing and discovered that Milly and Eric were not originally supposed to be romantically linked. It was proposed as more of a brother/sister relationship.
I'm glad they changed their mind. I like the fact that The Boy Who Could Fly has a romantic element -- it is quite lovely.
(I think Lucy Deakins is beautiful, and am disappointed that she is no longer acting.)
