Killua has seen strange things in his life before Clairbourn as an assassin. And, he grinned when he realized that Jio waas probably one of those oddities. From first glance, he would think that this might be fun--- but he also knew that he couldn't judge someone by his cover. Gon had looked like an average person and had discovered that he was a lot stronger than he looked.

He, himself, was another example. With his unruly gray hair and young face, he really did look like an ordinary boy. There was no trace of malice or violence on his face--- but that was only because of his years of training to hide behind an innocent face.

Killua walked into their meeting place, a cheeky grin on his face and waved to the other boy. "Yo," he greeted simply with a one hand wave before tucking that hand back inside his pocket. "I'm glad to see you didn't run away scared. I'm Killua Zaoldyeck. If you can't say it--- Killua is fine."

Jio could probably say it now that he'd heard it, but he'd be sticking to "Killua" for now. He pushed off of the wall and flicked his eyes over the other boy with a smug look on his face. Killua didn't look like the slightest threat, but he wouldn't have asked to fight if he really wasn't. Jio pulled his hands out of his pockets and tested the waters.

"Nice ta see ya didn't run either, kid. I'm Jio." He raised his fists and dropped into a stereotypical street fighting stance, although he crouched lower than most people would. "Yer move."

Killua frowned and then gave a shrug. "If we're going to do this, Jio. You're going to have to start with stopping calling me 'kid.'" It was his move first, then. He left his yoyos at the dormroom. It has been a while since he fought with his hands. He first analyzed Jio's stance, but he couldn't match it to any particular school or group. It was your average fighting stance. Had he been wrong?

No. He wasn't wrong.

With a grin, he used his speed and silence and disappeared. He used the camouflage of the shadows and different things in the alley for cover. He didn't bother hide his intent to watch and hunt him. One move. If he even relaxes his guard, Jio might find himself with a few broken ribs.

He's watching you, Jio--- waiting for an opening.

What are you going to do now, Jio How does it feel like, being the prey?

Jio had never felt something like this before, and he didn't like it. This guy was at Zero's level, and Jio had never beaten him. He'd never fought anyone who used this combat style before either, except for Zero. So the question was, how much had he improved since that year in the badlands?

He shot forward, jumping onto a dumpster, then jumping to grab one of the warehouse's window ledges and flipping to land on the narrow ledge with his back to the window. That was one direction he didn't have to worry about for a few seconds while he looked for Killua.

Not good. This had turned into a very different kind of fight than he'd expected.
