Kamina had mentioned it would be smart for them to arrive early, and that was just fine by Orihime. She was an early-riser by nature, particularly in the summer when the sun came up so much earlier than it normally did. She dressed in a white tanktop and a light cotton skirt studded with tiny tulips, slipped on her flats, and set off.

The line, however, was disheartening. As soon as she saw it, her eyes went wide, and her shoulders threatened to sag. Kamina was right about being early! Perhaps she should have camped out with a sleeping bag.

Ah, well. No slouching from her would be had, for others needed a fan just as desperately as she did. Unless there were fan scalpers in the line who only wanted one to charge a fortune to the desperate. She started off toward the end when she heard a familiar voice, and perked, turning to look at those already gathered. Blue hair, red sunglasses... "Ah!" Orihime beamed, darting straight for Kamina and coming to a stop beside him, hands clasped in front of her. "Good morning! Wow, you

Well his morning was not a little brighter! Now he didn't have to worry about standing in line all by himself any more and had someone to talk to.

"Aaah didn't really sleep last night. Been playin' this new game Ninja Storm on my PSP!" he grinned, pulling the hand held system out of his pocket. "I was gonna play it till the store opened up, but the damn batteries died!" Which was pretty upsetting, but nothing he couldn't deal with.

"So! You ready ta get this AC thing? Looks like we're gonna have to fight to get one!" he said, though it was hard to tell if he was joking about the fighting part. Given the atmosphere of the unruly crowd it was a good possibility.

Kensou rubbed his eyes when his alarm clock went off. He blinked slowly, and as soon as he saw the time, he hopped right out of the sofa. A quick shower and change later, he ran to the electronics store, hoping he could still make it in time.

Then he too noticed the long line. And he also noticed two very familiar faces in said line. Kenny stretched and yawned before approaching the pair. "Morning, guys! Looks like we're in for a long day." He smiled, hoping they didn't notice how late he was. "So what's the game plan, guys? Want me to kick some butt while you two grab a unit?"

Sometimes it was hard to tell if Kamina was kidding or not. Kensou too! That was something the three of them had in common, but that wasn't necessarily a plus in some cases. "Ah ha ha ha! Hopefully it won't come to that..." But who knew? She hadn't suspected a fight would break out in the parking lot of his former school either. How far would people go for air circulation?

Orihime turned to look toward the front of the store, noting how far away it seemed. At least the line would move quickly once the doors opened, for there was no need to purchase tickets or the like.

"If it's going to be a while, I could go get some batteries and breakfast," she offered, rising onto her toes and settling back on her heels as she glanced between the two. "How much time have we got?"

Kensou checked his phone for the time. "I say we have a good two hours before the doors open." Then he checked the line again. Was it getting longer by the second? It was as if a celebrity was going to be at the electronics store, signing toasters and mini-fridges.

"I'll keep an eye on the doors, in case if the line starts moving before you get back."

If anything, Kamina saw this as a good opportunity to take a much needed break, especially since they had another two hours to kill before having to enduire the mob rush.

"If you're stayin' here, then I'm goin' with Hime, standin' in one spot all mornin' is drivin me crazy!" He said, stretching his arms upward. Now he could get batteries, and maybe a bite to eat before the chaos began? No point in fighting on an empty stomach.

Colette walked up to the line quickly, but her bright smile faded at the sheer size of it. She saw a couple of people she thought she recognized from school, so she crept over in their direction. "Um, hi! Wow, this line sure is long right? I hope there are still some left by the time I get in there!"

Orihime beamed at Kamina, glad for his company. Clairbourn could be a little dangerous sometimes, though she'd never encountered any problems this early in the morning. But more than that, he just had a natural knack for making things fun! Everything was an adventures when Kamina got involved. "That'd be great!" she agreed, and looked to Kensou. "Ah, thank you for keeping our spot. I'm pretty sure we'll pass a gas station or a 7-11, I'll see what we can find
