Howell had come to prom in style - he was a firm believer that the teachers should embody the prom theme, and while he detested Twilight in all its incarnations, vampires were fair game. He showed up full Victorian regalia, complete with vest, waistcoat, frock coat and top hat, his hair pulled back in a neat ponytail.
After setting up the Prom Court sashes and crowns on a table near the DJ, he wandered over to the refreshment table, where it seemed the rest of the staff was gathering.
Lulu had arrived to chaperone as promised, dressed in a simple, eggplant-colored, tea-length gown--which she'd hoped would be appropriate for the formal event without upstaging any of the students.
Having missed out on her own senior prom, and being new to Clairbourn, she was a bit uncertain how the faculty should be attired--but as she approached the refreshment table, she wondered if perhaps she wasn't a bit underdressed.
Oh well. She was never one to be self-conscious for long. She may as well introduce herself to the rest of the staff.
Howell turned around and was confronted with a vision in purple. Dark hair, pale skin, piercing gaze - perhaps unconsciously, a charming smile spread across his features. He tipped his hat and said, "Evenin', I don't believe I've had the pleasure. Howell Jenkins, Latin." He extended his hand.
Lulu smiled in return, dipping gracefully into a slight curtsy as she took his hand. Apparently she'd at least met with his approval. "I don't believe we have," she replied, "I'm Lulu Kapulani...I teach sex ed."
Her lips curved into a sensuous smirk at the last.
Misuzu gripped Zack's forearm nervously, a small blush still staining her cheeks from still meeting with Zack when he came to pick her up. Misuzu had gone shopping with Roll, her picking the dress for Misuzu and she certainly hoped it was okay. Misuzu hadn't read any of the Twilight books so she did not understand the theme much but it seemed rather nice with lots of sparkles! Misuzu was dressed in a sleeveless powder blue dress that hugged her upper figure before flowing down. Her hair was half down with curls ontop her head and the rest of her hair neatly layered.
She looked around in awe, nearly tripping over the trailing of powder blue material in her clumsiness but thankfull saved herself the embarassment. Her gaze moved up to Zack with excitement," Zack its really really big!"
Zack, for one, had completely ignored the theme and had come in a standard tux. His cousin had given him more grief than he particularly wanted for the powder blue vest, but hey, it matched Misuzu's dress and that's all that mattered.
Transportation had been a brief nightmare until Elliot revealed that he had rented Zack a car for the evening. No longer faced with the prospect of picking his date up on a motorcycle, Zack had happily proceeded to take the car.
"Heh, a lot bigger than Homecoming in the school gym, huh?"
Misuzu nodded her head," Yup! But its really pretty too," She glanced down at the floor shyly," ga.gao..Thank you for taking me Zack..I-I'm really glad you're my date!" She stuttered cutely.
Zack spared a glance for the decorations, and his grin turned a little forced at the overabundance of red ribbon and sparkles. But hey, if Misuzu liked it, that was really all that mattered. Prom was more of a girl thing anyway.
He had to lean down - she was almost a head shorter than him, and she was looking at the floor besides - "I'm glad you're my date, too. But hey, I think I see dessert at the refreshment table. Shall we?"
Trevor waved to his parents. He watched them drive away, putting on a false smile. The past couple of weeks had been rough on him, and that whole prom princess fiasco left him in a sour mood. Princess? Seriously? Trevor adjusted his custom tie as he sighed. He honestly wanted to have a good time tonight, but the way he was feeling, he doubted it.
Once he stepped into the ballroom, he noticed the dark mood as well as the endless glitter. Oh, dear... I forgot about the theme. Now he -really- wanted to go home. Curling up with a good comic and a cup of tea sounded like heaven compared to sparkly vampires. Of course, he told himself he had to stay, at least for his boyfriend's sake. The thought of Giorno in something fabulous picked up Trevor's mood a bit. Perhaps the night wouldn't be so bad after all.
Fabulousness was promised. Fabulousness was delivered. The gold details on the coat glistened. The golden dress shirt sheened. The glitter on his face and hands captured eyes all around. Giorno specifically went out of his way to turn all eyes on him this time around, fully accepting that his sexuality would be put on display and, possibly, mocked. But they still saw him and what he did. He had pride in his looks, in the way his clothes complimented, and the love he had for that charming boy in white he made his way too.
Extending his hand to take Trevor's before bowing, he gave a wink to the other, revealing full golden eye-make up. All of this was done to show Trevor that Giorno was not afraid of this. Afraid of who he was... No, he was definitely done letting his father control him.
Trevor was... stunned, to say the least. The gold and black complimented each other so well; the outfit itself tastefully out-sparkled the decorations. Giorno was indeed much more pleasing to the eye like this. Soon Trevor realized they did match up, in a rather opposite way. The boy took a deep breath and accepted Giorno's hand. "I'm glad you made it." He smiled warmly, and this time it wasn't fake.
"I told you I'd make it worth it, love," Giorno whispered as he rose to embrace his boyfriend lovingly and almost protectively. "I want to make this a night to remember for us both..."
Taking Trevor's hand in his own, he began the promenade walk to the dance floor, with every single intention of showing off Trevor to the world as his lover, and that he was Trevor's. And there was nothing anyone could say or do to change that, not for that night. This was there's.
At the first mention of “vampires” and “prom,” Mrs. Darlian had set to work making sure that not only did her daughter have a wonderful time at her first American prom, but looked amazing for it. Relena had originally wanted nothing too extravagant as far as her dress went, but once she set eyes on one in particular, she changed her mind. When she took a look in the large mirror in the lobby (after reassuring her driver that she would call him later and wouldn’t get into trouble before then), she hardly recognized herself. Her hair was piled onto her head with thick curls hanging around her face and down her back. The dark makeup accented her eyes and gave her a much older appearance. The blond flushed and vaguely worried that no one would recognize her.
Taking a deep breath she finally entered the ballroom and made a small face. Glitter. Everywhere. “You would think they would have gone easy on it,” she muttered, looking around for a familiar face.
Jan showed up, with his smoking hot date, Elena. He didnt plan on going out to impress anyone with what he was wearing, but he was wearing a black suit with a white button down shirt underneath that was hardly buttoned to begin with, and was without his beanie. He gave his date an ornamented grin, nodding his head at her, "You got yourself together there, doll? Sorry didnt get no fucking limo... at least the bike ride didnt mess you up." Naturally, he had brought them there with his inherited motorcycle.

((OOC: This is Trevor's outfit, sans the giant shoulders and armbelt overkill.))
