It's right there in the post! The yard sale is 8am to 5pm. If you want to show up later, though, and just add stuff in, you can.

Why do linguists need a lab safety lecture?

That'll be the order, yes. I'd guess we'll start Repo Man sometime around 10, but that's a really rough guess. Glen or Glenda's pretty short.

The lab safety lecture is for the class I've been teaching this month - they're new international TAs and they're in Chemistry. The class I'm teaching is to get them ready to TA, so it's pronunciation and intonation (they're good in other English skills, but they need to have the spoken English skills for freshmen to understand them), American culture, what to expect from undergrads and how to handle it, etc. They get other meetings and things for orientation to what they'll actually be teaching, and the lab safety lecture is part of that.
