Watched Mystery Men last night and it reminded me (again) so much of City and how you could come up with any name, costume and character concept and it was all good.

I can't prove that when they added the shovel to the customizeable tank options it was an homage to this film, but I at least like to think that there were a handful of players who promptly made this their battle cry.

That movie really had a lot of good quotes. The setting hasn't aged either, I guess because it was so offbeat in the first place.

I can honestly say that the combination of the shovel and dual-blades are what got me to finally try the game.. and I was with it until they shut the server down and pushed me out the door.
