I miss you guys

I keep wanting to update, but I'm never quite sure what to say. At the beginning of the summer, I was just starting to get back into the swing of LJ and posting regularly, but all of that went out the window when I got a boyfriend. Sigh.

To change things up a bit, let's talk about TV:
  • Shows are coming back soon! I haven't been paying a ton of ( Read more... )

I am kind of....weirdly excited for Merlin! Like, I started watching S2 when it was airing, then stopped watching about midway through the season because it was making me so angry. But just a few days ago I started randomly reading fic for it again, and then decided to watch the rest of S2 and now I'm just GAGGING FOR MORE O___O

Hmm, what else am I excited for.....? SPN, obvs, The Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Shattered (which just started last week but I MISSED IT so this week will be the first ep for me), Smallville (I've been so done with this stupid show for YEARS, but I ended up watching S9 on a recommendation and I kind of loved it a ridiculous amount, so I'm excited for S10), aaaaaand.....IDK! So many of my shows are on cable (Dexter, Nurse Jackie, Treme, Caprica and start and end at different times and it's all very confusing :p

Also, I have no idea wtf MCR are up to, but they need to just fucking RELEASE THE ALBUM ALREADY. GOD. The fuss is they've changed their website to only show a bunch of cryptic weirdness, so people are like ( ... )

S2 of Merlin definitely annoyed me at some parts, but if I ignore all of that and remember the joy of S1 and how much I love the cast and stupid boys in love, then it's all okay. I'm hoping S3 will handle some things better than S2 did, but mostly I'm just excited for more ridiculousness. :DDDD

I should probably watch HIMYM & TBBT at some point, huh? I haven't even heard of Shattered. I've only seen through S4 of Smallville, but I'll probably end up finishing it one day, so it's good to know that people enjoyed S9. Ooooh, yes, Dexter! I need to look up when that starts!

YES PLZ, MCR ALBUM. Also a tour would be nice! *grabby hands*

Totally understandable. BEING IN LOVE MAKES UPDATING HARDER! I KNOW THE FEELING WELL.

I am so excited for the Vampire Diaries to start again. That's really the only show I'm incredibly excited for. I'll also need it after my Thursday class schedule from hell, too.

Trufax, yo. But hey, love's pretty neat so it's okay. :D

I sort of forgot about a lot of TV this summer, but as soon as I saw how soon TVD was coming back, I got really excited. I wanna know what happened after the finale!! (Ugh, I totally had a Thursday schedule from hell once. Which is especially sucky because Thursday is where a lot of the good TV lives).

There are MCR shenanigans involving multiple Twitter accounts and the mysterious website (which was changed within the last few hours but you can still get to it by clicking on "transmissions" if you want to) and the general guess is that there will be an album title and/or release date sometime very soon, and thematically it appears to be some kind of nuclear post-apocolyptic badassery.

US of Tara is so great, omg. I can't wait for it to come back. Do you watch Nurse Jackie? Also A+.

I know who I dislike on Project Runway, and it is GRETCHEN AND IVY. Regardless of their designs I just cannot stand to see/hear them on my television. I love: Mondo, Andy, I think Valerie. I like Valerie as a person. But, team Mondo, basically.

Ahhh okay. I've never been very good at following internet shennanigans (I just let other people do the work/speculation and then get excited when things are discovered ;D), but YAY! Nuclear post-apocolyptic badassery sounds pretty damn awesome. *waits impatiently for album*

For some reason I thought that US of Tara had 3 seasons, so I was very sad when I realized I'd watched it all after S2. I've never seen Nurse Jackie - I shall add it to my list of shows to check out! :)

Ugh, I TOTALLY about Gretchen and Ivy. Especially Gretchen - she just gets under my skin in a very icky way. Mondo has definitely stood out to me in the last couple of episodes and he may very well become my favorite. I was sad he didn't get to win the last challenge - his dress was awesome!

I tried to watch Grandma's House but Simon's "acting" totally turned me off after one episode.
Way too many shows to get excited about, I still watch about twenty shows every season.

Yeah his acting is kind of...not acting. There have been moments in the show where I think it works, but a lot of the time it just seems kind of awkward. Which is too bad because I like him quite a bit.

Twenty is a lot to keep up with! I'm not sure how many I'm watching this season - I'm sure it's at least 10, but I can't remember everything at the moment. I should really look at a schedule and figure it all out soon. ;)
