It's difficult to squee quietly

You know what sucks?

When you read something that makes you want to flail and squeal and make undignified noises, but can't because your roommate thinks RPS is icky and doesn't know you read it. Sigh, why don't I live with a (slash and RPS friendly) fangirl? My life, so hard.

In other words, I read Distance in the Afterlife (Frank/Gerard) by sevenfistsRead more... )

OMG, let's move in together. I read that story this morning, and have been wanting to squee about it all day, but my roomie is also RPS illiterate. There's something about coming out stories that I just adore. I love the idea of how the fans would react. Have you read this one where Ryan and Brendon are secretly together, and Brendon wants to come out but Ryan doesn't?

AWESOME. *packs bags* I love coming out stories too (the concept is so intriguing)...though I'm not sure I've read that many. And I haven't read that one, so YAY! :)

I heard about the Buffy thing last week, and OH. MY. GOD. I wish I lived in LA, because I would totally go. Especially since SMG is going to be there?!? God, I hope they put it out on DVD, or the entire video of it leaks or something.

I know!! I really, really want to go. I'm also worried about the possibility that I would pay the $50 to become a member and then the tickets would sell out too fast and I would have wasted a bunch of money. They go on sale Thursday so I must make up my mind quickly. Eep.

Either way, they definitely should release it on DVD.

Barrowman's episode was the first Buuzcocks I ever saw (he's so awesomely camptastic). I watched because I randomly saw "you've out gayed me Barrowman" quoted somewhere and foud the video through searching that phrase on Google. I feel totally indebted to whoever used that quote because it led to me watching tons of Buzzcocks, which led to me loving Noel, which led to The Mighty Boosh, and so on and so forth. You roommate is right, Simon Amstell is adorable.

I would kill to go to the Paley Festival. Nothing that cool ever happens in Seattle. :(

It was the first one I saw, too! I'm thankful to that person too, because leading you to all those TV shows lead to you showing me episodes of The Mighty Boosh, for which I am quite grateful. Simon is completely adorable.

Ugh, I still haven't decided if I'm going or not. My main worry is that I will buy the $50 membership but the tickets sell out before I can get my hands on one. And then I would have forked over a bunch of money for no real reason, which would suck. But yes! There are definitely advantages to living in LA, but Seattle is still more awesome.

I have a feeling that a lot of people on the internetz owe that person a big thank you. :)

I can see why making a decision would be difficult. If you do decide to become a member I hope you get tickets. Seattle is definitely more awesome most of the time, now if only we could get the Buffy cast up here we'd be the best city in the world ever.

Wow, I had just read a list of celebs and SMG wasn't on it; maybe she joined up or dropped out between our information. I would definitly be willing to spend 85 bucks on something like that, but then again, my parents would probably loan me it, so I wouldn't have to be too worried. But still...once-in-a-lifetime, probably.

Yeah, she was announced after most (or all?) of the other guests. I'm still considering it! It would be pretty damn awesome to be there.

I read this Jared / Jensen fic last night, and I felt sort of bad for reading it, but at the same time, it was both well written and believable (if we were living in an alternate universe and all), and it made me smile. I also had no one to share the joy with. *sighs woefully*

Aww, Jensen/Jared. ♥ They were my first RPS pairing. I felt a little guilty at first, but got over that pretty quickly. Heh. Sigh, it's frustrating when we can't share our joy over such things.
