Things are settling down finally. Sundown and I are doing are best to adjust to all of the changes in our life. It has been difficult. We are exhausted. Snarkiness has set in. We bicker a lot. The doctor says I have yet to make progress. She wants to schedule my induction for January 8th or 9th. Please don't call to ask if I am in labor- you will know. I have turned off my phone.

My due date is in two days. Friday to be exact. I am trying not to stress out or fixate on that date because I know damn well that it is an arbitrary date created by my doctor. My baby shower was yesterday. It was a blast. I guess that means I am getting closer. The whole thing is starting to become more real to me.
