So, last night was a fiasco. I had to work yesterday from noon to 11:15 at night, which is crazy in itself. I'd also agreed before I knew what hours I was working to pet-sit for a friend, so after I left work, I still had to go to her house and let her dogs outside

That sounds like a horribly long day. That sucks about your tire but so nice of your dad to go and help you. I hope he heals fast.
