I broke the very same tooth! I slipped and smacked facedown into a lab table in my 8th-grade science class and cracked my right front tooth in half on the diagonal. For about 18 hours I had a bitchin' fang. I also managed to bite through my lower lip, for which I got a totally fun and awesome 14 stitches in my face. GOOD TIMES.

I can't believe that after all that, you took the bus home! You're a trooper.

Yeah, my tooth chip's diagonal, too! You win, though, for biting through your lip. Probably not much of a consolation, though.

I didn't have enough cash for a cab, and with it being 2:30 am, didn't want to visit an ATM. Even if I did have enough cash for the cab, I probably would have bused home anyway. It's not so much about being a trooper as it is being cheap. I mean, I've bused home from hospitals after staying there a few days before, so this was no big deal.
