Yes, because the first time River walked on screen in her red louboutins, I thought, she must fuck the Doctor in a yurt. Since, you know, that's a logical thought progression, don't you think?

And I can't be the only person that eroticizes math. :D Golden ratio? Pi? *Fans self* I'm sure the Doctor feels the same way. No doubt, if I actually went and got that degree in astrophysics, I could have had him eroticizing that too, because he would.

I'm glad you enjoyed this part of the story. :D Thank you for leaving me a comment.

Absolutely. This is a special kind of logic called moon logic. I am well versed in it.

What's funny is I've been obsessing over the golden ratio for days and where I could get a Phi tattoo.... I think we have the same brain.

And I'm sure the Doctor is *very* turned on by math...

I'm glad you liked the Doctor's very slightly kinky side (meaning, "Oooh, threaten me with death harder, River!") And no, I most certainly wouldn't have left this as a cliffhanger (or broken it up in any way) but LJ has a prejudice against posts over 10k. :( When will they learn acceptance? I'm very happy to see that you went on to the next part and kept reading. Thank you for leaving me a comment here as well. Getting two comments for this story from you? :D Almost makes up for having to split it.

I am making this face: :D irl. Loving this so much. Especially the fact that it’s from the Doctor’s POV.

"A bit. How am I supposed to get it?" he asks. She raises an eyebrow. He gasps. "River Song! I'd never."
"You wanna bet?"

I'm glad you liked this so much so early on. And it's wonderful that you appreciate that this is from the Doctor's POV, because -damn!- is he a bitch to write. He just won't. shut. up. And this isn't even Ten! You see the word count for this? Anyone else would have taken half that word count to get this story across. When I decided that I was going to try my hand at writing an adult story, I was very clear about two things: 1.) I'd write it from River's POV 2.) It'd be relatively short. And so of course I wrote over 11K from the Doctor's POV. Because I'm a masochist. ;) Still, I'm thrilled that you appreciate that it's from his POV.

And it made me grin that you liked that particular bit of banter between them. :D Thank you again.

You get all the kudos for writing this long a fic from the Doctor's POV. I mean, 11K. The Doctor's POV. NC-17. o_O (Of course, I love fic where his POV is well-written, so seeing this wordcount made me go "11K yay!".)
