(maybe include "SPOILERS SPOILERS BOOK SPOILERS" in your cut tag?)

Catelyn and Ned were my favorite characters in the series. And Jon Snow - but I didn't read the last book that was released because omg work in progress will never be finished and I got sick of waiting. I might need to read it now. =P

Eh, I'm less fussed about warning for book spoilers because the books have been available for years, but maybe, if leechblock doesn't cut me out before I'm done replying.

ughhhhhhhhh Jon is just so dull. :( IL the Starks so much but oh my god Jon, you are the boringest. I can only stand him once there are the ice zombies to deal with, and even then it's just that I can tolerate him instead of wanting to slap him. I really liked, though, that instead of getting told how special he is and that's why everyone hates him, he is in fact told "no, everyone hates you because you're acting like a little shit and also you have an enormous fucking wolf following you around, so grow the fuck up and play the hand you've been dealt".

I don't remember him being so douchey, but that's possibly because I read the first book maybe five times, the second book twice, and the third book once. It's been ten years since I last read them, so my thoughts on Jon may have changed.

oh, yeah, fair enough! I can definitely see him being fun for people, he's just not the kind of character I ever really like at all, so there was basically no hope of me being more than tolerant of him.

The Bean's face is the MOST hilarious. Oh, Bro-Lord of Winterfell.

And when he looked at Arya and was just like "WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET THAT HELMET???", SO GREAT. Can we just have the Ned And His Kids variety hour and skip the random agency-removal?

I LOVE THE ARYA-WRANGLING SO MUCH. All the actors seemed kind of stiff and uncomfortable, but that was one of the few moments that really seemed completely natural and easy, his "hey, hey, what are you doing, where have you been, where did you even get that" and having to catch her. DELIIIIIIIIIIGHTFUL. I would watch so much of the Stark Family Variety Hour, I can't even. With the Lannisters being ridiculous and crazy and the Starks being GREAT. I mean, Cersei is pretty much Lucille Bluth already.
