So, remember this post about how sansets and I were worried that we'd had a fanboy conversation? Yeah, after that we went on at one point to have a long discussion about how it is not actually at all intellectual to discuss who would win in a fight, and also boring besides, and can never be conclusively proved ( Read more... )

Don't feel too bad. I have been sucked into that trap as well. Especially at work, for some reason. I think in the last year we've had at least three conversations on whether Batman could beat Superman. And one on whether Batman could beat Spiderman (which I am saying totally can) LOL. Its embarrassing.

I don't know much about Spiderman, but Batman could probably beat him.

And, hmm. With no warning at all I think Superman could take out Batman with heat vision or something and that'd be the end. But with even a smidge of warning, Bruce whips out his stashed kryptonite and Clark is a goner.

...And there you have it, proof that my responses are just getting worse.

LOL.

I'll join in so that we can both be fanboyish.

I have a tendency to argue that Batman is so smart/prepared that basically no one can beat him. But I could just be saying that cause I fangirl him.

I used to collect Spidey. That is actually where I got my start in comics. So, yeah I am sure Batman could beat him. But, mostly because Peter Parker isn't very level headed.

And damn... this went father then I intended. lol..

Also, edited to fix some stupid typos.

Yes, I believe canon is supposed to be telling us that Batman wins because he is always prepared.
