It Feels Like I've Lost More Than Just An Hour

My computer clock is very insistent that it is 5:27 am. Eljay's clock is equally insistent. And yet I'm still sitting here slightly astonished that I've forgotten that it's Daylight Saving Time already. The first Sunday of April and the last Sunday of October. We swap to British Summer Time on the Sunday after the vernal equinox.

I'm still waiting for daffodils here. Boo. The bluebells appear to be on schedule though. When they infiltrate the woodland floor in their blue-suited crowds I'm going to wish I had a digital camera.

Ooooh, yes I know. Last year I was incredibly confused since the majority of my flist was British, and they were very vocal about when the clocks switched.

With a soubriquet like Chronographia von Strangehours, I'm really just asking for it.

We don't normally have bluebells here, though I can expect a carpet of violets and grape hyacinths in the next few weeks. April has all the best flowers.

Last year I was incredibly confused since the majority of my flist was British, and they were very vocal about when the clocks switched.

Auntie Beeb reminds me or I'd be a lost traveller wandering in time twice a year.

Bluebells are one of those events which happen every year and yet their appearance continues to be breathtaking. It's the blue, and their scent, which contrasts with the green-grey-brown continuum and the equally green scents of woodland in spring.
