Some spy shots of Zachary Quinto (Sylar from Heroes) in costume as Spock for the new Star Trek movie. I have to say it -- I'm sort of excited about this in a rather unhealthy fangirlish way. :-P

Mmmmm-mmmm! I hadn't heard about this - tell me more! Do you think anyone can reach the level of Nimoy's sheer sensuality, though?

Well, I don't know that much more, except I also know Karl Urban has been cast as McCoy. Seems a little odd to me, but I'll reserve judgment until I see him in action.

I do think Zach Quinto has the whole creepy/sexy thing down (Sylar can eat my brains any day of the week!), so we'll just have to see how he fares as Spock. He does look great, though, from what I can tell. :-D

I hope next week's episode of Heroes has more Sylar in it. :-(

I can't wait for this movie! My mum is a trekkie and raised us on it. Glee, oh glee.

And while not Nimoy, I think he looks pretty much the best Spock you could manage.

Really, I can't think of someone else who would be better suited for this role. I'm really looking forward to this movie -- here's hoping they don't screw it up! :-o
