 * The job interview went pretty well, I think. It was short - the librarian and one of the other techs had a pre-printed list of questions and just went down the list. The Fall semester starts in 29 days. While I have enjoyed my summer off, I kind of wish I had taken summer courses. I find myself rattling around with downtime, but quickly fill it. SCSU does their summers in two mini-semesters instead of one full semester, which would have meant I would have had to cram twelve week courses into six weeks. The idea ( Read more... )

So Grad School started yesterday. The professors did not unlock the courses until then, so I'm jumping around and trying to absorb all the information. At last, I was able to talk to my advisor at Southern. Poor woman is just buried in deadlines, and I'm grateful she was able to make time to call me on the phone.
