My cousin got me 'The world ends with you' six days ago and I played right through it without a break. (Except for sleep and other necessities. I'm not that obsessed.)

Now that was a short New Year's party...we had to leave way too early so we could catch our train, waited nearly 6 hours for the party to start and then my friend gets so trashed that I had to sit with him in the freezing cold for 2 hours until he finally stopped throwing up.
