OMG! I started reading Eyeshield too just because of Hiruma. xD It's just hard for me to read it because 300+ chapters seems daunting.
When I began to read/watch bleach I didn't know what I was getting myself into. x.x; I just wanted to get to the cool blue-haired guy. DDD: Oh, I know better now...
Yeah, I hate being that shallow, but I also picked bleach up because I liked Grimmjow's character design. XD
Same thing with Eyeshield 21. I found really cute fanart of Hiruma and Musashi so I asked around where they're from...but ugh, the whole sports thing...do you actually pay attention to any of it? I feel bad for it, but I always skim through the matches :/
A little. I play sports myself, (although I hate football) so I think I tend to enjoy it a bit more than most otaku. I do tend to skim through most of the matches though. >.> Haha, it's kinda like when I watch Yugioh, I only skim through the games and stuff because I don't need all that play by play garbage the character's always spew.
Have you ever read/watched Ookiku Furikabutte? It's a baseball anime. Main character is so moe is hurts. It definitely appeals to me since I play softball and there's cute boy characters.
Oh wow, he's really cute...and it's only 26 episodes. I'm on vacation for the next week, so I'll try to marathon all of them. Thanks for the rec :D
Hah, Yugioh...all those hours I wasted on the anime, listening to their endless explanations of their strategies (just to end up activating some trap card kdjhfjkfh). I don't remember much of the story, only that it was quite frustrating to watch XD;;;
