The first time Ryeowook cross-dressed, it was merely for fun or rather, his hyungs were playing with him. He was fine with the idea and besides, they were all doing it anyway. But he never felt handsome in the first place, therefore he never felt pretty as a girl for that matter. Leeteuk looked liked an angel, Heechul looked like a princess while sungmin was too cute; He was not like them. He therefore swore that he will never ever do that again!
The second time he cross-dressed was nothing short of a drama. He had already met and performed with Henry and he already felt something more than friendship.
“Why would I? no!!!! Choose Yesung-hyung instead!”
Ryeowook whined and pouted in front of Kyuhyun who was equally unhappy about the situation they were both in.
“whatever you do, it’s already settled. Besides, do you think I liked the idea of having to wear wigs and super skinny jeans?”
“That I am afraid of!”
Ryeowook sulked in his bed as he cried himself to sleep: he will be performing in a wig, skinny jeans dancing to a girl group song and in front of the fans.. well the fans, Ryeowook can tolerate.. but the one thing he was most afraid of was the fact that Henry will be able to see him cross-dress and he was never good-looking.. well at least he view himself as the ugly duckling.
Rehearsal came and Heechul was all smiles as his plans of performing Gee was about to commence; he was a self-professed fanboy anyway. During rehearsal, the other 6 members, who weren’t chosen by Heechul, were there to give their support.
Heechul designated their parts and announced that he will be Heesica! Yah right everyone knows that since day one. Ryeowook was not at all happy: for one, he doesn’t look good as a girl, two, he doesn’t dance well, and three, he’ll embarrass himself in front of the person he really likes.

On the day of the performance, Ryeowook was forced to wear the purple skinny jeans and a white shirt with a “seowook” in hangul written on the front panel of the shirt. The noonas fitted him with a very long wig and a headband as and accessory. The length was to much for comfort and it made the boy very irritable.
“how can girls live like this? It’s so bothersome!”
Ryeowook muttered irritably as he brushed away the long locks away from his face.
“you look great wookie! Perform well!”
Henry patted Ryeowook’s shoulders and smiled at him that made the latter’s heart melt like butter.
“Thank you, I’ll do my best!”
Ryeowook softly replied with flushed cheeks. Henry smiled wider which made Ryeowook blushed a deeper shade of red, causing an evident red circle around the prominent cheekbones of Ryeowook; the noonas need not apply blush on as Ryeowook literally had the rosy glow.
On cue, The nine of them appeared on stage wearing the t-shirt and jeans, all lined up to perform GEE. Ryeowook was full of energy as he sang his lines and moved to the beat; who said he can’t dance? He performed with all the will power and determination that was provided by his lone inspiration.
The other 6 members where all backstage watching the performance. Zhou mi had his eyes on two particular person.. one was wearing brown.. the other had a pink bow on him.. Zhou mi’s eyes were wide. Henry was staring at a lone person in the background wearing the purple pants and headband to match. His eyes were narrow compared to zhou mi but he managed to open it as wide as he can to watch the dancing woookie and never miss a single moment.
“hey Henry! Blink!”
Henry was surprised and started to blink really fast.
“oh.. Yesung Hyung!”
Yesung sat beside him and started to focus on the screen.
“it’s Siwon’s part already” the older muttered
Not long after that, they can all hear Hangeng chant along
“when I say HEE.. you say SSICA! HEE?”
“SSICA!” He even encourage the other five members and even the manager hyungs and stylists noonas to chant along causing a loud commotion in the dressing room.
When the performance was over, the 9 members quickly changed for their next performance.
“you did great!”
Henry extended a hand to congratulate Ryeowook before leaving with his violin in hand. Ryeowook swore he saw some stars and butterflies as his heart fluttered somewhere in the direction of the Canadian Violinist.

The third time Ryeowoo crossed dressed was after that terrifying experience at the Taipei airport.
Henry wrote on his baidu, before the SSII concert in Taiwan, that a big surprise is in store for sll the Taiwanese E.L.F.s. SURPRISE?!?!?! There have been some speculations but none was confirmed till the concert itself. He was very excited about the surprise… really excited.. WHY?

Screams were heard when 5 girls appeared on stage: amber, Luna, Sulli, Victoria and Krystal. Yah right f(x)… WRONG!
The big surprise is not f(x) performing but rather Shindong, Heechul, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Ryeowook.. yes Ryeowook… performing ~Chu ♥
Ryeowook? Wait.. Ryeowook? Seriously?

“I really love watching ~Chu ♥”
Henry exclaimed as they held their rehearsals for the said concert. There was a eureka moment and Heechul quickly dragged Donghae to the far side of the room and stared at him for a few seconds before blurting out:
“You’ll be perfect as Amber!”
Donghae stared at the hyung for a whole minute before understanding the sentence.
“ahh… so what will you be?”
“Sulli of course.. I’m so perfect for that role!”
Heechul was very pleased with herself. She scanned the room for the possible other members that would join them as Donghae sat next to and cuddled with Eunhyuk.
Henry leaned closed to Ryeowook and muttered
“I really like Luna of f(x), she’s really pretty”
Ryeowook’s eyes was filled with light and an idea struck the eternal maknae. He stood up and left Henry who was smiling in an evil fashion.
“what bait did you use?”
Kyuhyun asked the younger lad as he sat next to him..
“It’s a secret.. why?”
“I’m dying to see Mimi dance genie!”
The other laughed.
Ryeowook rushed to Heechul who was thinking very hard at the last member to join them: he already picked eunhyuk and shindong.
“hyung I want to play Luna!”
Ryeowook said to the hyung who was a little surprised.
“I don’t know wookie.. you never liked cross dressing and besides you’ve admitted you’re not good at dancing!”
Heechul said to Ryeowook who was a little taken a back, reality bites! But he was very much determined!
“please oh please.. I can learn all the steps.. I will wear whatever..”
“really now? Ok.. give me one good reason why you should be Luna!”
Ryeowook’s face was stern and determined.
“I am doing this for Henry..”
Heechul raised an eyebrow as he crossed his arms.
“Because I really like him… A LOT!”
With that said, HEechul smiled and said ok. The next couple of days, the five practiced hard for the surprise performance.. it’s a surprise so no one was allowed to see the progress or whatever the five decided to do.. all they know that when it involves heechul.. there’ll be wigs and clips and cross-dressing.

The 10 members were excited to see the surprise in store for them as they waited in the dressing room.. Out came the five dressed like their dongsaengs f(x).
Heechul had his hair on pigtails, Donghae was just wearing a cap for amber has the tomboy image, while the other three wore complimentary wigs. Again, Ryeowook was uncomfortable with the long and this time wavy hair, what was bothering him was the long bangs that kept on covering his face.
When they stepped on the stage, eyes followed not Heechul, not Eunhyuk but Ryeowook: how can he hide such beauty? He should reveal that for the world to see!
Just as Ryeowook had promised, he learned the steps and danced so well.. way beyond the audiences’ and the members’ expectation. And again, Henry’s eyes were fixed on the person wearing an oversized red sweater with long wavy hair. He stared so much that he hadn’t noticed his mouth hanging open until Yesung closed it for him.
“I’m sorry..”
Henry muttered with embarrassment.
“oh you’ll be if you don’t hurry up and make a move.. Wookie’s a gem Henry and you’re going to loose him if you keep it to yourself! Don’t hold back..”
“huh?!”
Yesung smiled and left the Chinese boy to ponder as he went to Siwon to kiss him good luck.
Henry realized that Yesung was definitely right.. HE would lose Ryeowook if he won’t make a move.
Yesung sat beside him again as the nine members perform GEE.
After the performance, the nine rushed to the dressing room to change for the next performance. Ryeowook went straight to the noona waiting for him when a hand stopped him half way and pulled him into a kiss. Ryeowook’s eyes were wide with surprise as he stare at the entity that stole a kiss from him.
“Henry?!?!”
“”you don’t have any idea how long I’ve waited for that kiss..”
“really?!”
Ryeowook was still shook up by the sudden turn of events when Henry wrapped his arm around the older guy and rested his chin on his shoulders.
“you look really pretty.. and I mean it by heart.. I won’t be wasting any more time for I may lose you..”
“oh Henry..”
Ryeowook’s eyes were filling up with tears as he embraced the Canadian violinist.
“sorry to be the antagonist but you should change and you should get your violin, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of time for you two to talk about everything tonight.. YEsung wwill be sleeping with Siwon so You can sleep with him ok?”
HEechul told the two cuddling maknaes before leaving the dressing room to wait for his cue.
“I don’t think that’s a really good idea..”
Henry muttered in a soft but audible voice as he let the eternal maknae go and fetched his violin. Ryeowook approached the noona who removed the hair piece and handed him his new costume.
“really Henry, I thought of borrowing this hair piece for tonight.. and maybe have some fun too… oh well I changed my mind..”
Ryeowook smirked as he changed into the pants and shirt for their next performance.
“what?!?! Really.. wait.. Wookie it’s so on!”
“hmm… let me think about it..”
Ryeowook muttered as he stepped out dressed in his new costume when a pair of lips greeted him.
“I know you want to do it wookie..”
Henry teased as he moved his hands down ryeowook’s back and rubbing circles with his hands. Ryeowook bit his lip before kissing the other and whispering into Henry’s ears in a very seductive way..
“hell yeah..”
