Penguins FTW

I just took a wee sanity break and wandered over to the book shop across the street. I see there is now a whole series of Penguins of what might loosely be described as "guilty pleasure" reads of the late 19th and early 20th century with wonderfully retro covers. I read The 39 Steps on the train back from Cambridge on Monday morning. Now I really want to see the film!

As so often, I don't think the film is as good as the book. There is a very good BBC Radio version. Also "Greenmantle" and "Mr. Standfast".

According to Slightly Foxed, most recent issue, it appears that somebody is reissuing at least the Sapper Bulldog Drummond novels. Can Dornford Yates be far behind (he is more the snobbery, Sapper is more the violence, in the Snobbery with Violence stakes)?
