Sorry for the delay in this update! I have had such a busy weekend and am just now getting back into the groove of things. But anyway, this update is all about Celia Gates and her first week in Little Hollywick. The next update will be about her little bakery business.
Celia spends a lot of time at The Zebra Room, the club owned by Harvey Dingle. She's scoping out the male population of Little Hollywick. But wouldn't you know that most of the people in the town are females, and unfortunately, Celia doesn't like girls. I guess it's just as well though, her dancing wasn't impressing anyone anyway.
After striking out at The Zebra Room, Celia had to resort to men she had already met. Clay was the townie who came over in the welcome wagon. He and Celia have 2 bolts together, and he's not too ugly. But the thing that finally won Celia over was when she found out that he's got loads of money. That sealed the deal. I can't blame her, bakeries don't just fund themselves you know.
So Clay moved in and the couple had a very fun time that evening.
But they weren't so happy the next morning! I thought I had told them to just woohoo, but it turns out that Celia was pregnant. Woopsy! Oh well. The baby will add to my playables count which will raise my total population. And Celia's just too cute not to have babies. So it all works out. And she didn't have any fears of having a baby. None at all. She does, however, not ever want to get engaged or married to Clay. Poor guy. He's a family sim and has wanted to marry her for ages now.
Celia sure does make a cute pregnant woman. And Harmony Clock finally got up the courage to talk to Celia, rather than just sit in that chair all day.
Two random things. Clay wrote a book, and it sold for quite a bit of money! That's more for the bakery. And then the repo-man came (someone forgot to pay the bills!) and took their toilet. What's up with people in this town stealing toilets?
Celia finally had the baby. It's yet another boy! That makes 3 boys born in Little Hollywick...0 girls. This is Sam Gates. He's got his mommy's black hair and teal eyes, and I think he got a mix of his parent's skintone. As a baby it looked like Clay's skin, but as a toddler it looks lighter. So who knows. But either way, he's a cute little kid!
The next update will be about Celia's bakery. After that, we'll go back to the Clock house to see how their second week is going.
