My bloody stairs have bloody collapsed! Well not entirely, but they are hanging by a thread! My brother was walking down the stairs this morning and heard a crack. The builders from the insurance company can't come until tomorrow morning. Bah. Here's hoping it doesn't collapse entirely when my lardy brother comes home from work.

It seems to be hanging in there for the moment. We put a plank underneath to hold up the wobbliest stair. I honestly didn't think this sort of thing physically possible.
