So it seems the day has come -- Fanfiction.net has lost its mind and updated itself whilst cracking down on all the things we shouldn't do on there, especially when there is no MA rating. It makes me all teary-eyed; goodbye to all the reviews we worked hard for! Now I'm not an exceptional writer, but I do like to give it a go.

Haha yeah, slowly but surely getting there! Now I just have to figure out how to find certain types of stories I like reading...

And I've been doing that too lol (reading fics instead of writing them). Gosh yes, Fanfiction is all block-y looking now and just bleh.

Yeah...They keep on deleting story's, even if they don't go against the rules, only indirectly. Okay, I know that it was against the rules a little with writing part of a song lyric in it, but seriously? I have read story's that are practically made out of lyrics! So this guy comes up and reports my story and after doing that sends me a PM saying that I went against a rule...

Sorry, started rambling. Just wanted to share my story and say that you aren't alone in the matter :)

I know this is what, 7 months too late? But I thought better later than never (never know, you may see this in a few days, weeks or years and get a kick from it being so late)! But, yes, I've seen that particular deleting-of-stories happen one too many times compared to others. It's really sad.

I'm actually surprised that person emailed you (I would have taken it like a grain of salt and mass spammed them with all these stores that are so much worse than mine to make them feel bad and silly on being that nitpicky.
Seriously, there has to be an exception (like if you quote and name it, etc? Like with essays...)

Anywhos, to continue the lyric's rant 'cause I'm feeling chatty tonight (lol), I always found it somewhat ironic how we couldn't use lyrics at all considering we are essentially plagiarising someone else's characters, ideas or world...
But whatever, there's probably all this legality that I ant got no time for.

Well, I'm almost 2 months late :P
This person, before reporting the "abuse" sent me a pm after I asked if i could like cut almost all of the song out. He answered no and then told me that if i can't write it without a lyric then i shouldn't post the story! after it got deleted I posted it again; told the readers to listen to the song well reading...
