I'm testing the VCR function of the unit today. It's working, but we'll see whether it automatically rewinds at the end. It should, it's a commercial video I'm testing. All this is a long-winded way to say that the remote doesn't work for rewinding, and the 'hidden button' on the machine only starts, stops, and forwards

Kidnapped

I read "Kidnapped" during my author cards reading extravaganza. I raved about it so much that J decided to read it after I finished. One of my favorite parts is his escape from soldiers who are pursuing him and Alan through the Scottish heather. I'm not familiar with the film version, though.

It's a Disney movie (hence the casting for David) but filmed in Scotland with mostly Scottish actors. It follows the plot and dialogue pretty much, I think!
