Just had an enlightening weekend in Philadelphia. The first trip that I've gone on completely solo, no one meeting me at the train station or waiting for me at the hotel. I have less than six weeks until I am no longer Lena Consolini.
It's both weird and wonderful.
I've never been attached to my last name, nor the people associated with it,

Two summers ago I bought two tickets to see Morrissey at the Pines Theater in Northampton. He canceled the show and broke my heart. Today I just bought two tickets to see Lou Reed at the Calvin. I hope this doesn't turn out the same way.

 I'm sitting in a comfy chair in Peabody right now with a cat in my lap. Awesome. Also, it's finally the right temperature outside, none of that god awful 88 degrees bull crap.

Tomorrow my family meets Ryan's family and we're going to look at the site. I'm very excited/nervous.

Why does it still have to be September? I'm ready for October and Halloween and Anne and Patrick coming home. Also I can't wait to go to McCrays and go on the horse wagon out to the pumpkin fields.
