I made a comment ElseJournal, and I want to do some fact checking on myself. The substance of what I said isn't incorrect, but my numbers might be a bit off

Are you sure? It sure didn't seem like there were 400 people in that hall, and I didn't think it had sold out, either. Then again, my memory might be overlapping with 25 years worth of past 12th Nights ;-)
I think Stierbach did one in Manassas for 400 a couple years ago. And this past one in Sudentorre was also for 400. So 200 for a 12th night is avereage to small. The Coronation I autocratted for Logan/Rowan had a Saturday feast for 200 and the Sunday feast for 100.
An average feast for even a small event tends to be about 100.
Ponte Alto did a 12th Night back in 2000 or so that has a feast for 400 (plus off-board seating for about the same number of people). I believe the one you are referring to was actually held in Stierbach. Not sure what the feast size was for that one. I would think that 200-300 is a fairly typical 12th Night feast size.
I know that 12th Night you are thinking of and I believe that while there may well have been 600 or more ON SITE, that was NOT the number for feast. A 12th Night feast in Atlantia (and it's been a while since I worked on one) is typically @150 to 250 people. The largest feast I have worked on in this Kingdom was Atlantian 20 Year, and no, the kitchen was not HUGE. It was, however, and industrial kitchen with several ranges and I think and heavy-duty mixer. Master Robear also brought his pig-cooker, so the meat was actually done out back on that

Yep, I'm afraid I was the one responsible for the sticky rice mess. Unfortunately, I was a bit distracted as they put me on vigil for my Pelican at the Ponte Alto 12th Night. Working in the kitchen and being on vigil does not mix.
Did you do that, too? I was called in at the last minute to cook rice for 400 at Atlantian 20 Year when the original person who was to do it couldn't make it to the event. I kept saying to Tirloch, "I don't think this is such a good idea . . . ." I was right - it was dreadful! ;-P
