It is supercheap Bernat Softee Chunky, as I bought the yarn for wrist warmers and had a ball and a half left over, so I had to do something with it. :) I need to go out and buy more proper sock yarn, I do. I have only a ball of rainbow stuff whose brand I no longer remember.

The postcard is of the "Burne-Jones Windows" at the Winchester Cathedral. It's pretty and I'd scan it but I think you've enough torture waiting for other pictures to load, so you can wait 'til you get home to see it. :)
