Nocturnal Theatre: Zombie invasion?

The weird nightmare (I term it thus because it was one of those dreams where I woke up bowstring-tense and close to tears) this time entailed some kind of enormous, world-wide disaster (I assume worldwide though I had knowledge only of Canada and the U.S. being involved), and for some reason I suspect there being zombies, though I don't think I saw ( Read more... )

An interesting amount of emphasis on shoes and socks in the dream. Maybe it has something to do with anxiety related to a journey, or traveling or somesuch.

The scene with the train and the bag of things rings to me like an attempt to protect and gather up hard-earned, and precious things?

I believe one should pay more attention to the symbolism in nightmares because they're easier to remember.

Was it in colour, just curious?

Yeeeessss... I remember clearly that the shoes I kept losing were brown leather with red laces, and that the socks the woman gave me were blue... and many other things. Does that make a difference?

Oddly enough, I don't think there was a lot of red in it. The laces on the shoes I kept losing were red, but that's all I can recall - the whole thing had that sort of washed-out, desaturated colour-scheme common to BBC TV dramas.

The socks were definitely blue, though. Does this mean I associate my spiritual guide with socks? o.O
