Watery-Eyed Guy! He looks so STARTLED in the picture! The look on his face reminds me of this guy when he realises what's happening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdyYe7sDlhA&feature=related (He was a taxi driver who was mistaken for an Apple expert and interviewed live on the news channel.) Maybe Watery-Eyed Guy is merely a taxi driver who everyone just assumes is in CID, but he's too nervous to say otherwise!
Uniform Boy also looks a bit like he's doing a Gollum impression. But then, you're right. Seeing John Simm in the flesh is bound to do strange things to anyone XD

I seem to remember a Vince. Wasn't one of them called Vince? Or was he one of the Nameless Ones in A2A? Or perhaps I came across that name in LoM fanfic...?
In 1.03, Sam hands Saunders's bloodstained shirt to {nameless one} and says, "Lytts, do me a favour. Run this shirt down to Forensics. See if it's a match for the victim's blood."
The last time I watched this, I saw that the subtitles said 'Vince' and got very excited because I thought I'd learnt his first name. (I'm sad that way.)
Then I re-listened and thought I heard the name 'Lytts'. (Sometimes the subtitles are wrong.)
I just re-listened, and now I'm thinking it IS Vince, and you're right.
Or am I wrong? Other people are welcome to re-listen, as I'm up for changing 'Lytts' to 'Vince' (or even 'Vince Lytts' ;-) if that's what most people hear. It's at 29:35 mins into the episode.
And now I'm wondering where the name 'Lytts' came from! *worries, nibbling at nails*
