lost and alone.
Rachel tried to shake it off - the feeling of being lost and alone, especially when her friends were only a call away. She wasn't sure if it was the pandemic or just one of those instances where she got too wrapped up in her character's emotions, but she needed a cup of hot chocolate and a phone call with Stephanie to get rid of the blues. Yumi was the one who was struggling with the fact that she may have been manipulated all this time, not Rachel. Rachel wasn't the one whose brother is not a known fugitive - in fact, her little brother was actually in college and hopefully have not wandered off the road of a good behaved student. Oh dear, she was already starting to ramble to herself, Rachel really hoped Stephanie would answer her call, before she starts actually talking to herself again.

"You do realise you're engaging in nothing more than a flight of fancy with that ridiculous notion," Emily said, scoffing at him.
Aaron raised his eyebrows at her, "Flight of fancy? Did you finally read an actual book on the way here?"
"I read books," the red head huffed in response.
"Yeah, and you love art galleries for more than just your Instagram," he retorted, earning a glare in return.

slow and steady.
"Alright, you've got a stick up your ass, what's wrong," Emily said, shoving the blonde aside so she can squeeze in next to him on the couch.
Aaron wanted to push her off, but realized she would still get it out of him sooner or later, so instead he took in a deep breath before starting, "It's been a month now since me and Stephanie started dating, but we haven't....kissed."
Her eyes bulged when she heard that, "I thought you were going to say sex which then I was gonna reply, you two have been friends for so long and she might just want to take it slow and steady, but then you said kissed and all I can think off is maybe she doesn't actually like you."
"She likes me," he said, glaring at her before adding, "Besides, the same reason could still apply."
"Yeah, don't worry, you've both known each other a long time and probably need some time to get used to the idea of actually kissing each other - off screen," she said, bumping their shoulders together and shooting him a supportive comforting smile.

cold as ice.
"It's cold in here, as cold as ice....cream!" Emily exclaimed, pulling out an ice cream cone from the bag.
Rachel slid up closer to the older male and peeked into the bag, "There's only ice cream in here - you do realise she has a sore throat as well as a fever, right?"
"A fever that is dying down, and besides, what better cure is there than ice cream?" Ryan said, offering her a cone as well.
"Hmm, soup, tea with honey, anything warm and not cold and sharp to the throat," Rachel replied, unwrapping the ice cream cone.
"Cold does not mean sharp or bad for the throat," Ryan said, to which Rachel merely rolled her eyes at.

"If he doesn't kiss me by the end of the date tonight, I'll just do it myself," Stephanie said, looking at herself determinedly in the mirror. She had Rachel braided part of her hair in a crown and she was wearing her lucky dress on and the bracelet he bought her. She put on her favourite lip gloss that she was well aware made her lips look more inviting. Stephanie flips her hair over her shoulder and considered taking a selfie. She looked so good, there is no way that kiss is not happening tonight.
